This screw is a very commonly used screw for timber structures, especially where a higher fastening force is required. The flat-head screw differs from conventional wood screws in having a flange head which acts as a washer and provides high tensile strength. The screw is certified for structural applications subjected to loads in any direction with respect to the axis (α = 0° - 90°). It is available in different thicknesses and lengths.
